Important
Once you have logged on for the first time your name and avatar picture can be viewed from the Internet. This should only be the case for a limited time period. If however you are concerned about your name being visible, it is possible to change it. Click on Settings on the dark grey menu strip at the top of the One Community screen. On the Your settings page, replace your name in such a way that you are no longer recognisable. If you are using One Community for module-related purposes, you may consider replacing your name with your Kingston University username (e.g. k1023456).
Click on the small image icon to the left of Dashboard in the grey bar along the top of the screen. Click on Edit Profile.
You may also wish to remove your photograph, if you have uploaded one, or replace it with an icon that does not allow you to be recognised. To access your profile page, click your profile icon to the left of the Dashboard link on the dark grey menu strip at the top of the screen. Click the Edit profile icon on the left. Click the Choose File button and navigate to the drive or folder where your picture is stored. Select the image you want to use then click Upload. One Community prefers square images and has a built-in picture cropping tool that enables you to select a section of the image you have uploaded. Clicking and dragging the image you have uploaded will create a square section which is displayed in a preview box to the right. When you are happy with your cropped image click the Create your avatar button.
